When trying to create a new account on Gridlines, you may encounter an error message: “Account already registered.”
This typically occurs when another user from your organization has already registered with the same email domain. Since Gridlines identifies accounts by domain (the part after “@” in your email), duplicate registrations under the same domain are automatically restricted.
Why Does This Happen?
To maintain security and avoid duplicate organization setups, Gridlines prevents multiple users from registering directly with the same domain. This ensures that all accounts within one company remain linked and manageable under a single domain profile.
