What is the Due Date for a candidate?

The Due Date for a candidate is determined as the maximum of the due dates of all the checks initiated for that candidate.

For example: If there are three checks initiated for a candidate with the following Due Dates:

Verification 1: 15th December

Verification 2: 20th December

Verification 3: 18th December

The Due Date for the candidate will be 20th December, as it is the maximum of the three due dates.

How is the Due Date of a verification request calculated?

Due Date = Latest Data Sufficiency Date + Number of days from Agreed TAT (excluding weekends and holidays)

Example: Consider a scenario where for a verification,

  • Latest Data Sufficiency Date: 1st October 2024 (Tuesday)

  • Agreed TAT: 4 working days

  • Weekends: Saturday and Sunday

  • Holiday: 2nd October 2024 (Wednesday, National Holiday)

Due Date’s step-by-step calculation:

  • 2nd October 2024 (Wednesday) : This is a holiday, so it’s skipped.

  • 3rd October 2024 (Thursday) : Counted as Day 1.

  • 4th October 2024 (Friday) : Counted as Day 2.

  • 5th and 6th October 2024 (Saturday & Sunday): These are weekends, so they’re skipped.

  • 7th October 2024 (Monday): Counted as Day 3.

  • 8th October 2024 (Tuesday): Counted as Day 4.

So, the due date for this verification is 8th October 2024 (Tuesday).
